Re: FOB (was Placenta percreta)From: Joanne Bulley, MD (islesannie@yahoo.com)Sun Jun 20 00:23:27 2004
Well -- for the time being - the premiums aren't doing too much nasty stuff. The past 2 (or is it 3) years now the NHMMJUA has had a Med-Leg "CME" that if you do it and get a high enough grade your premiums are less by some percent. I have gotten a 100% or close to that on all the tests. I take the test - then read the booklet that goes with it -- and have usually changed 0-2 answers. there must be a bunch of folks that really don't get it on the medical-legal stuff... If I do Locums I think the Locums Firm covers the premium (haven't really looked into it enough) Then I'll need to retire and let the younger folks struggle with it! Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
