Cesarean complication

Have been asked for opinion about a bad obstetrical outcome following the inability of the Ob to free the vertex from the pelvis during a cesarean. Please email me privately if you have knowledge of any cases similar to this. The defense needs examples of other cases to show that this is a rare but not unique event.

Thanks, Richard Kaplan, MD FACOG Greensboro, NC

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
