I'd like to know that, too. I had a patient lose a term infant while living in Brazil and the only thing out of the ordinary from a term delivery in the states was the use of buscopan, and I could not understand the rational of use.

What effect is buscopan going to have? As far as I know it acts on the alimentary canal only! Steve
