Garry I do the scan while I talk to the pt and it is schedule in our appt template as a reg OB visit. I push record on their tape when I enter and off when I leave; usually less than 5 minutes. My situation is unique and I certainly would not extrapolate this to anyone else.

I would recommend having the patient make the check out to the sono company or you will be violating managed care contracts. (but then you're violating the self referral laws).
