We are talking about the Memorial Hermann system, Bob. I'm sure you can relate that whoever put the policy in place never did the research...just listened to the bean counters or attorneys.

It is obvious that whoever removed your CCB doesn't know the pharmacology. You are not using Verapamil. The others normally used ie nifedipine will not cause severe hypotension even with Mg therapy. You need to press them on the issue. Tell them there are three classes of CCB and which are they concerned about. Have them start with Goodman and Gilman. They may be educatable!
