Maybe it's time to ask why she's "not responding" to Terbutaline. Has she a UTI, enteritis, cervicitis, or cervical incompetence? Is she maybe one of the outliers on the normal distribution curve for whom 34 weeks is term? You could try an Indomethacin supository. If Terbutaline is not working then no betamimetic is going to work. Seems she just might have to deliver without the full course of steroids. Steve

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
