It is obvious that whoever removed your CCB doesn't know the pharmacology. You are not using Verapamil. The others normally used ie nifedipine will not cause severe hypotension even with Mg therapy. You need to press them on the issue. Tell them there are three classes of CCB and which are they concerned about. Have them start with Goodman and Gilman. They may be educatable! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
