The university's associate dean, Dr. Brian Magwood, told Winnipeg's CJOB Radio News the school's policy requires students to inform patients of all treatment options within the medical standard of care, said LifeSiteNews.

I think we don't have all the facts, I am just about 100% certain that he was not suuspened for refusing to to do abortions. I would bet that even not informing patients of there options would not have got him kicked out. Now if he was counselling patients against abortion because of his own beliefs then he deserves to be kicked out. Mutual respect of other peoples moral and ethical beliefs is a two way street.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
