Oh!! Now I'm *really* devastated that I can't attend this year. This would be almost worth a quick plane trip just for that event.

And lest any of you get the idea that American midwives are nothing but a bunch of party girls, I hear from those who have attended International Congress of Midwives conventions that no one can hold a candle to the Dutch midwives. They are legendary for *really* knowing how to have a good time.

But a word of warning - be careful at any of the receptions which say they include free food. 1500 midwives and 3 trays of free canapes is not a pretty sight.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
