It is your lumping us all ito the following category that sticks in my throat. I and I think most members on this list spend an inordinate amount of time discussing options with our patients.

" I do know as a woman i hate going to an OBGYN who simply treats me as if i have no choices outside those he/she gives me. "

I hardly think giving out ideas to help the current health care/insurance dilemma is starting a flame war. I dont think suggesting that women be given more information about health and encouraged to make choices that are supported by the medical groups is starting a flame war. I do know that women who feel in control of their choices accept the outcome as their own more than not. I do know as a woman i hate going to an OBGYN who simply

treats me as if i have no choices outside those he/she gives me. if my last post was seen as a flame starter,,, then simply look over it. I know i look over some of yalls emails when i dont like them. :)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
