Re: Forceps/VacuumFrom: Charlie Chambers (cchamber@gorge.net)Tue Mar 16 14:40:46 2004
I was trained to do the same. When I have the opportunity, I try to write a note including the above plus pelvimetry. I get a consent for a "trial of forceps". The only time that I get OR backup is for a rotation or what I anticipate to be "difficult" instrumental delivery. On Mar 16, 2004, at 11:13 AM, Lynn D. Montgomery, M.D. wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
