Standing triage orders

Any one have systemized triage orders in place? We are trying to streamline the triage process - and therefore prevent closing L & D due to short staffing - by letting the nurses start to execute standing orders for common presenting complaints ie r/o PIH, pre-term labor, etc. when patients hit the door. If you have a set of such standing orders/triage guidelines, can you please send them to me off list? Thanks.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
