I must admit I don't know the specific answer to your question, and I am going to guess that there is little experience with this remedy for blood loss anemia. Seems to me, though, that erythropoietin would have little to no effect in stimulating RBC production if her iron stores are severely to totally depleted. Gerald UP. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
