I was however alarmed that two of your sponsors/benefactors/participants (below) are law firms that openly solicit clients on your site (website links, banner ad, 1-800-SUE-DOCTORS). I hope your organziation and membership roster do not serve as a reservoir of potential litigants by these lawyers looking for jackpot awards. My advice is that your organization just give back to the for-profit law firms their money and cleanse your non-profit organization (and website) of those who seek windfall profits from others' misfortunes. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
