Its been a while - but I believe our protocol was to give 4gm - over 10 minutes (?) - we sat at the bedside with the syringe and did it. Eventually we put the 4 gms in a small IV bag and put it on a pump to go in over 10 minutes or something like that.

I agree - that prompt starting of Mag SO4 would have been OB 101.

... uh-oh.
