The Doctor read the report from Ultrasound and said to the patient, there was no large peices of placenta but mainly just clots and fluid .. most of which has come out. The patient has been taking her Temp twice daily, afebrile to date.

So the Doctor has decided not to go ahead with the Dand C right away- she'll see me her in another 2 weeks and consider getting another ultrasound to be sure all the products are gone.

So, there you have it. Thanks so much for everyone's input. Very much appreciated.

Kind regards

Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
