Re: Saliva testing

Well, that's what worries me. The naturopaths have bought into this big time and are making big money on tests that tell post menopausal women that their hormones are not in balance because "see how low your progesterone is"! The local pharmacist made a visit to my office to show and tell all the BHRT modes of delivery and to sell me on saliva testing. I have seen displays at legitimate OB/GYN conferences so that's why I'm asking your opinions.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
