<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> Yeah, remove it is the right option, but anyone who has ever tried to take out the cervix after a subtotal will remember that the subtotal was probably done in the first place because it was difficult to get at the cervix.  Unless there is some pathology in the stump it may not be necessary to take it out, and if you are going to put in a hysteroscope, you just slide it in under continuous vision watching all the time as it advances, thus there shouldn't be a problem about what is likely to happen at the fundus of the stump.
