Depends on location. A "regular" scan at the radiology imaging office I send my patients to is $125. At the hospital it is $300. This is for self-pay patienets and is a complete OB u/s. Level II's run $225 at the center and $450 at the hospital. I know of a few mobile units down in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area that do Level I's for $85 for self-pays.

>>What is the cost in that area of a "regular" normal scan for dates? How about for anomalies? I'd like to see the difference.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
