Re: 4D ultrasoundFrom: Lynn D. Montgomery, M.D. (apgar10@montanadsl.net)Tue Dec 23 16:19:09 2003
Garry, I am getting my second GE Voluson 4D machine on Friday, but I didn't get them specifically for the 4D option. I got them because in my opinion, they have the best 2D image on the market presently. The reality of 4D is that it is seldom relevant to the formal scan. I will grab a 3D/4D for the patient if the fetus avails itself and provide it only as good will - I don't charge above and beyond. Good thought though if you can get away with it. I could probably make more money by taking one of my machines to the mall and offering scans for cash... Lynn

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
