One of my classmates went into OB-GYN and then went back to his hometown (Ville Platte, for those of you who know La.). He was overwhelmed with work, which means GOOD money (at least it did 20 years ago), but he could never get a partner, never take a vacation, yada, yada, yada. So he moved to Lafayette, thus leaving his hometown ("in the boonies") without an OB-GYN again. He tried, but he couldn't do it. Joe P.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
