Dear Colleagues, I am Alexander Kalegyn, Ob-gyn. from Uzbekistan, Central Asia country working as the Chief of the regional municipal Ob-Gyn. hospital in Tashkent, capital of the country, metropolitan area. I need your advice. My daughter is 22 YO P2 at 36w now. After first labor in 2001 baby died on third day of living. The reason was explained to be acute cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection. High blood level of antibody to CMV was found. She had taken a lot of treatment before present pregnancy and now title of CMV has been low before pregnancy and during it. We are considering coming to the US for delivery. Visas problems are solved. In this regard I have question. What hospital, particular practice, doctor in Chicago area, where my sister lives, do you recommend for delivery with all supportive details - payment options, perinatal check, agreement settlement with Ob and what else... hope to learn later. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
