Fen-Phen Settlement Trust Sues Second Doctor for Fraud Legal Intelligencer A second doctor was accused of fraud last week in a federal lawsuit filed by the AHP Settlement Trust, the entity created to process claims related to the $3.75 billion fen-phen settlement. The suit alleges that New York City cardiologist Richard L. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
