The Worst Business in AmericaFrom: Don Miller (DrMiller@eNATAL.com)Thu Nov 13 06:30:31 2003
There's a feature article (10 pages) about an obstetric practice in NJ (Valley Center for Women's Health) in the latest Inc. Magazine (not your usual clinical rag). It's not on their website yet. The title is "The Worst Business in America" with the teaser "Suppose you couldn't raise prices, you couldn't control expenses, and you were morally obligated to meet the needs of customers who are eager to sue if anything goes wrong. An inside look at the forbidding economics of a doctors' office." You may want to take a look (or not).

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
