Re: Humor: Don't DieFrom: Douglas Krell (dkrell@msn.com)Sun Oct 26 13:12:04 2003
Yeah I just found out 2 things about banks... 1) When I took all the money out of one savings account to pay for my son's tuition, they billed me for "service charges" and took the charges out of my checking account. I call it robbery. They told me that if a minor child's name is on the account, they won't charge anything, but the interest rate is a bout zero. 2) So I asked why the interest was so low...weren't they lending money out to other businesses? They say no...that's illegal. When a bank lends you money, it's just your signature that funds the loan. They federal reserve just prints the money based on your signature and promise to pay. So when you lend them your money...they pay you nothing. Then if they lend money it comes out of nowhere and you owe back THAT money plus a fortune in interest. ....and people think that medicine is a racket

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
