Well, I think Cheri might have some insight, tho not sure how much logistic familiarity, regarding Institutions that "DID" this. But they did not experience enduring (or endearing) success. My sense is Your situation will be more conducive to better outcome. If, for no other reason, You are taking an active role. As a bystander, would make one suggestion: when 'pooling resources', be sensitive to those, human. (And , if ya' plan to make such an effort (ie: people are more impt than soylent green), do so 'before the fact'. Like infiltrating with xylocaine, prior to incision?) Ouch! tj

Be cautious to get attorney review regarding any antitrust issues. It may make a lot of sense for your community but the justice department has pursued such cooperation in the past.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
