Interesting study! Proves, once again, that studies may be used to conclude whatever someone wants to prove. I think most of us who actually lay hands on patients are quite convinced that hysterectomy tends to improve sexual functioning (how many times have we heard "why didn't you do this for me 5 years ago"). The high incidence of "bothersome" sexual symptoms is hard to explain, but apparently this means that the incidence was even higher before the operation. It would be nice if authors would define their terms. DMP

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
