Dan et al, since I am a general surgeon, I haven't taken OB-GYN boards, but I have read Droegmuller, Urogyn books, GYN cancer texts, Telinde, OB GYN Ultrasound texts and attended both the Columbus course and the Chicago course. They are all helpful in different ways. I enjoyed the Chicago course more than the Columbus course, partly because it was shorter, but also because they had a larger talent pool to select speakers from, so I thought the overall speaker quality was higher. I also had no trouble finding a seat at the front of the room, which is almost impossible at the Columbus course. Gail Waldby, MD Huron SD

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
