$947.20 for vag del only. $72.85 per visit for prenatal care and postpartum checkup. We are a federally-and state-qualified rural health center, thus the reasonable reimbursement for office visits. They pay that for any outpt. visit, no matter what level of service. If a pt. starts prenatal care at 8 wks and keeps all appts, we do MUCH better than any insurer's global fee. The amount for the vag. del. is the same for all docs, whether rural or not.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
