The don't accept the contract and create a different strategy that works better for you in your business. Joe's post on Newt's book would be a good start. Politics aside, lots of creative approaches are sited. I think docs have to take a little medicine from his approach in the sense that we have to do new things that work better for our patients and us. Complaining about what managed care offers is really non prodcutive for anyones business. Take it or leave it. Obviously you need an exit strategy to leave it but you may find more productive approaches.
