Million Women Study

I just finished reading the Lancet article on the million women study, very thought provoking. Should we even prescribe HRT to our patients without a full disclosure on the risks of Breast cancer. One of the interesting items is that there was no difference in the risk of developing breast cancer on HRT with any of the different combinations of estrogen and progestin/progesterone. This was a question that was not answered in the WHI study. Also I do not remember seeing any big headlines in the newspapers on the study, interesting. What are everyone's thoughts on the subject

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
