There should be no confusion and no argument. Procidentia is another
name for complete prolapse - grade IV, and that is what the picture
shows. It is not correct to use the term procidentia, which is an old
word, to describe just any old prolapse of less than grade IV.
Inversion of the uterus is another condition altogether, when the
uterus, not the vagina, turns inside out.
