Message$25 sounds like the same wishful marketing thoughts we all get every day courtesy of the Spam industry.

OK, we have been begging for an upgrade/remodel of our Women's Unit for years - long before I got here but nothing happens - budget... Today, all the postpartum rooms are full and we have three labor rooms with postpartum patients in them. The head nurse is going from room to room offering gift certificates to the local mall for $25 if the patient will volunteer for early discharge.

I told my patients that for a $500/night room, the gift certificate better be at least $250... Lynn

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
