Only if I cared whether she and her kittens were alive/dead/or damaged at the end of the day. Also whether or not the cat would sue if the outcome wasn't perfect.

Of course this is also a fabulous argument for staying the heck out of the hospital in the first place. Really, would you take your cat and toss her in the car and drive her to the vet to birth her kittens?
