dear members of this forum, especially practising mds in obgy. i am an obgyn working in united kingdom for last 5 years and planning to come to usa to start residency in obgyn. i would like to know what do u mean as liability premiums?? Do you have to pay from your own pockets if something goes wrong in your practise??? and who pays if you are working in HMOs or are just faculty not doing private practise. secondly what is your quality of life with regards to time for yourself during your practise??? do you manage to have time for family???your social life in this mad rush of private practise. what are the options in career for a women obgyn after residency?? to balance work and family in usa. is getting into obgyn residency after spending 10 yrs in same subject in united kingdom, very tough???? please reply to this it is useful info for my carer decision. thanks yasmin

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
