It's not a matter of sledgehammers and machine guns. It's simply what works, and then you can pick the cheapest one in YOUR hospital.

In some hospitals, Amp/Gent/Metro, adding in gent levels, multiple dosings, etc., is more expensive than a single agent. And some places it's not.

But there's really no literature that says any one of these is really better in OB-GYN patients. They're all basically equivalent, all things being equal..

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
