Dear Mr./Ms. Davis,

Sorry that you feel the need to lace your rebuttal with such invective.

Perhaps, I mispoke, I am not in favor of a moderated list, and trust me I more than deal with my fair share of spam, and have employed as much tech help as possible to filter the junk, as well as signed on to our state and national anti spam lists, but I think this list has slowly lost it's utility. I originally defended your position just a year ago; however, it seems that not a day goes by that we don't get financial ads, viagra remedies, etc.

I don't think you have any information to suggest that any of us are not doing our job. In fact, the use of this list has helped a number of us do our job much better. We do this to supplement not to replace our jobs.

Can't recall what in my suggestion would be considered lawyer-like, I am merely suggesting that perhaps a different construct would allow the original intent of this forum to continue. I belong to another "recreational" list that is not moderated and opinions are allowed to freely distribute. But that list, manages to keep out the ads, the letters from nigeria, etc.

In the future, please have the professionalism to identify yourself.

Thank you On Sunday, June 29, 2003, at 08:01 PM, L. Davis wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
