We have jacuzzi tubs in about half of our LDRP suites. Typically moms are not up after ROM at this facility.

I am looking for a research study that appeared in a nursing journal that suggested there was an increase incidence of resuscitation on infants after water birth. If I can find it I'll send out the reference. Small study of about 200 - 300 hundred. Resuscitation was not a primary focus of the original research but an observation after results were reviewed.

I enjoy hearing what is being done outside our sheltered corner of the world!

Thanks

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
