For efficiency, we batch billing to twice a week or so, but this is an example of why we may want to do the combined stuff ASAP. That said, since the new LAVH codes depend on pathology for weight, there may be times when the billing cannot be done until the pathology is back.

For a fleeting moment, I've entertained telling patients we have to check with their insurance before doing combined procedures, but I know why that won't fly.

It really is absurd and abusive to us, on top of the crappy rates.
