There are a number of valid points in this discussion. However, for brevity: 1. Have a qualified contract attorney, preferably one who specializes in medical contracts, review your contract before you sign it. 2. All contracts are negotiable up to a point. 3. Don't sign a noncompete clause. Ashley

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
