plaintiff's verdict over nuchal cord IMHO represents defense attorney's malpractice - res ipsa loquitur - shoddy representation. who were the plaintiff's experts here?

as a sonologist - i recall Dick Berkowitz admonishing me at a conference NEVER to report nuchal cord because of it's poor predictive value for outcome. i know others in this list have different opinions and i would welcome any input as to how best to report this observation if indeed we think it should be reported.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
