Dr. James O'Leary has been the person that has publicized the Zavanelli maneuver. However, ironically, he has never performed one or has even been present for one. He is one of the leading PLAINTIFF'S expert witness on the subject although he is incapable of delivering a baby at this point. He also has taken credit for uterine artery ligation (his father's experience) however, he is not capable of finding the uterine arteries if his life depended on it. L.Nixon

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
