I used to work with Dr. Warren Crosby at the University of OK Medical School. Back before Rhogam he was well known throughout the country for his skill at intrauterine transfusions, although I think they did them into the abdomen then, rather than by cordocentesis. He's retired now. There are perinatologists around who do cordocentesis. Perhaps the group she has seen can find someone if she ended up needing transfusion before delivery is a possibility. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
