Joanne -

you don't sound like an idiot to me - those are good questions. before even looking at equipment - ask yourself how you intend to use the machine. would you think to transport it to other sites? how would you archive images? what would you use it primarily for? how much is your budget? there's lots of equipment out there as you well know in a variety of configurations and prices. do figure that you would need two transducers - one abdominal and one vaginal.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
