I'm sure in your counselling and review of the options with this patient you have discussed the increased risks of TL vs vasectomy. I tell all my patients requesting TL that vasectomy is a better and safer option, but in this type of patient it pays to emphasize it even stronger than usual. Of course, that's assuming she is in a monogamous relationship with a significant other, not always the case in this day and age.
