Re: Losing the will to liveFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Sep 29 10:40:17 2004
Hang in there! This damn disease is not worth dying for, even though some days it would seem easier. I have bowel pain too and it is because I have endo on my bowels. Has that ever been found in your laps? I also had a colonoscopy and it was normal so my pain is definitely from the endo. Make sure you call your OB/Gyn and report this "new" pain. They may want to do an ultrasound to make sure there isn't anything else going on, like a cyst. I notice that my endo pain is very unpredictable and can occur at anytime, in place in my body. I have lots of pain on my right side but there is nothing wrong there! Go figure! Doc says that the left side is very bad, so the pain on the right is "referred pain" from the left. How weird is that? If the endo is close to nerves, it can cause more severe pain. Maybe your endo is just progressing and effecting you differently now? Just a thought. I would definitely call my OB. We are here for you on the forum!! Hugs!!! Amy Meyer
