Re: Lupron failure? How do I know??From: Dawn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Sep 28 12:19:14 2004
So, you have had the Lupron in your system for 5 months? I would say that would be plenty of time to do what it is *supposed* to do. My OB/GYN was only going to have me take it for 3 months. Unfortunately, Lupron doesn't work for everyone (see archives). It didn't work for me, and caused a lot of terrible side effects that I am still dealing with (see my posts from the last 6 months or so). I sincerely hope you don't have any long term side effects, but if so, you are not alone. Have you tried any of the natural alternatives (diet, natural progesterone cream, supplements)? They are worth looking into. I am trying the progesterone cream now, as well as the fish oil and evening primrose oil. So far, I am seeing some good results, and it has only been 2 months. Good luck! Dawn
