Re: 21 with Endo. and PCOSFrom: Candace (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Sep 23 12:26:39 2004
Hi.. I'm 21.. I have Endo.. They think it may be on my bowels and such. This may not sound like a good idea to some, but if you do want children and you are in a steady relationship with someone you love. Try starting now. I have one child and I'm getting ready to have another. I had my first baby when I was 19. I'm so happy I did! I'm hoping I can still have another one since my endo has progressed so far. Also, if you're in pain 24/7 talk to them about a long lasting med like Oxycontin. It works really well. I've only taken the 10mg dose so I'm not so sure about other ones. This is unless you're not on a narcotic. Also if you haven't tried Amytriptaline try it.. It didn't work for me but it worked for my mother who has a very very messed up back! She loved it. She was able to sleep through the night and not be in pain. Take a prenatal too. They offer the best meds to women!.. I'm not too sure on the holistic approach, but we do have what I consider and expert. Lori, she's very good and knows about all the new things :) I'm sure she'll post here if you want some advice! Hope all works out and one day you'll be pain free.. Without them having to take your uterus at such a young age!
