Hello, I have posted a few times before. I have battled endo for 6 years now. I have had 9 surgeries, two of which were following my complete hyst. Now the pain is back and all too familiar. It is a very concentrated pain on my left side but also intercousre is impossible!! So I went to the doctor last week and he did his regular exam. I went in yesterday for an ultrasound and thsy are saying it is my intestines and colon. So now I have to go in for a barium enema tomorrow and an upper G.I. on tuesdyay. When I asked my doctor he said that it is endo. on my colon and intestines and that they need to do the tests in order to find out the extent of the endo. He mentioned a bowel re-section. So my question is has anyone been through any of these procedures? What should I expect? Any advise? What about a bowel re-section? What is recovery like? Any information would be greatly appreciated :) Hope all of you are doing well. Thanks in advance. Amy
