Should I have my lap next week even though my pain is gone?

I have had pain for the most part of the last 8 years. I have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease as well as endo. My last lap in January showed that I had an adhesion connecting my lower intestine to my "right cul-de-sac", (meaning the tissue surrounding my ovaries, I guess). Anyway, I was told my pain would not go away until I had that adhesion removed. Well, I set up a lap with a surgeon/gyno that feels he can remove it without perforating my bowel. I started on the progesterone cream two months ago and I don't know if that is what has done it but my pain has been almost completely gone for a month now. The pain has always come back in the past but I am confused as to whether I should go through with my lap next week and risk the complications that could arise with my intestine or just hope for the best an not have the lap. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated, I am really having a hard time with this. Thanks so much, Amy
